Added a new belly pic and some other pics to my Flickr!!
Friday: went to my drs appt, here's the scoop on that!
BP: 100/65
weight: 130lbs (3lbs in two weeks!!)
Matthew's HB: 154
Measuring at 34weeks
Everything is great, he is head down and has not moved from that position for a number of days now, I'm pretty sure he's there to stay!!!I feel great, I'm actually kind of sad that it's almost over....don't get me wrong....I'm totally excited to have him in my arms snuggling and nursing, but I'm really enjoying the rest of my pregnancy!!! I'm not too uncomfortable yet (someone PLEASE remind me of this post in about 3 weeks!!!LOL) I've been able to really keep the braxton hicks contractions at bay this time around, which is nice. Normally I'm having at least 3-4 every hour by this stage in the game, but by drinking almost 3 litres of water a day, that seems to have really helped and I am only having maybe 1 an hour.
Then we went grocery shopping, 5 hours at Superstore, can you believe that?!?!?LOL
Today we have just hung around and I have been playing catch up on laundry (really???Ya think?!?!) I LLLOOOOVVVEEEE my new washer, it works fabulous!! Then tonight Bill and I took the kids out for a walk over to our lake. I had originally planned on taking some fall pics of the kids, however Mariah decided to pee her pants (grrrr, I asked her a bazillion times before we left!!) and of course I never thought to bring a change of clothes with me!! So we had to leave early, but if the weather cooperates for tomorrow, then we'll give it another shot. At least I got some pics!!!
Well, I suppose I should go switch another load of laundry!!!LOL
Have a blessed Lord's day!!!!

Better Today
Ah, as the saying goes...There's always tomorrow!!! (or the next day.....)
Everyone still feels like crap, including me. At least there's DVD's and tea to help keep the mood somewhat tolerable. I'm currently waiting for my washer to come!!!YIPPEE!!! I'm sooooooo excited, actually, truth be told, I'm most excited about acquiring my hallway back!!!LOL I have never had a laundry back-up this bad before, even when the kids have had a tummy bug!!!
Not much else to report on today, in case you were concerned, I don't have any bald patches on my scalp, although that could change once I've dyed my hair this evening!!!LOL I've played with the idea of going back to my natural color for simplicity, however, I kind of like life as a blonde....a light blonde, not the dirty blonde God had originally blessed me with. It's like it gives me the freedom to be a ditz sometimes and get away with it!!! If I trip in the grocery store, I truly believe most on-lookers fully expected me to do that. I can play dumb (as the stereo-type implies) or I can be a smart blonde!!! I always spark a joke somewhere from the depths of someone's brain, and since blonde jokes have been around for a few years, I actually KNOW the answers and thus become the 'smart' blonde!!LOL (on a side note: these jokes have also helped me to learn that I shouldn't use white out on my computer screen!!!LOL)
So, after practically 16yrs of being blonde, I think I will continue to be a blonde, oh, and I guess my hair should match!!!
Have a blessed day!!!

Can I please take a mulligan on today?
I'm done, this day sucks!!
It all started at 2am when our bed broke, I'm sick and the kids are sick. They are grumpy. Mariah had two accidents last night and I have blisters on my hands from wringing out bedsheets and waterproof mattress pads, having had to wash them in the bathtub. They couldn't get our washer delivered until next Tuesday at Sears....NEXT. TUESDAY. Not acceptable, so Bill is off today to find a place that sell us a washer ASAP. Oh yeah, did I mention the kids are sick and grumpy?!?!?! I have 10 loads of laundry piled up and more to come. School was a joke today and I gave up on it for today. Mariah emptied out the box of laundry detergent from in the bathroom all over her head and body. (praise the Lord she didn't get it in her eyes!!!)They are now having a bath and I had to re-vaccuum the hallway (I cleaned and organized/rearranged mine and Bill's room yesterday) My backyard looks like the city dump, because I have been cleaning out like a mad woman, we also scored a sectional couch off of FREECYCLE , so the two old couches we had are sitting out back...I can hardly wait for the nosey-neighbour to put in a complaint about that!!! *sigh* Alex is out back trying to help me out by organizing the garbage bags, but because of the one bag of pop cans, there is now a swarm of crazed wasps buzzing around, so he is out there flinging his arms and running around like a banshee....but will he give up...oh NO!!!! Today is one of those days that I wish I could crawl into bed and pull the covers HIGH up over my head and go to sleep and pretend that the world does not exist!!!!
However, that is not about to happen!!!LOL I must keep pressing on and face the rest of the day...stuffy nosed, droopy eyed and sore headed and I may possibly have a few bald patches on my head from ripping out my hair!!!!
Sandra: we use a virtual school and it's available throughout the world (our 'teacher' has a student in Argentina!!) the website is Golden Hills Virtual School We use the complete home program, no classes at the school or on the computer. I really wish I could use Sonlight, but it doesn't cover Canadian History or other topics that need to be covered to meet our school system's criteria. HAPPY ~belated~ BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!
Well, back to the grind.........it's got to be Triaminic time BY NOW!!!!!!
God bless!!

Just when you thought..................
Ugh!! Just when you think there isn't much else to get messed up...your washing machine conks out!!GRRRRRRR!!! Not a good thing when you do approx 2-3 loads PER DAY!!!! ACK! Although I can't complain, it served it's duty well. We bought it brand new in '98 and haven't had any service or repairs done on it while we've owned it and it get used a LOT!!! The motor completely went in it, so we're just going to get a new one. It will be the same make (I Love my Kenmore!!!)no fancy front loaders here this time around!!! But, that's okay, I really do love my machine. Now, I'll just have to survive without a washer for a few days....EEEEEK!!!!! Especially since two wet the bed still!!! And wouldn't you know it, there isn't a Laundromat near here!!! Hopefully delivery won't take too long!!!
Why is it these things always happen when you just don't have the time or money for it?!?!? I guess I should be thankful it didn't happen when Matthew was born and I was in the process of washing a load of diapers!!!! EWWWWWW!!!! Thankfully, I was just doing a small load of Mariah's bedding because she had an accident last night, and it managed to get through it's wash cycle and die during the final spin AFTER rinsing and at least it let me drain the water out...whew!!!
I'm trying desperately hard to get in as much final cleaning as possible before I hit 36wks, although I think my family is falling off the 'clean sweep' bandwagon!!! Their motivation is really dwindling.....not that I can blame them!!!LOL This is the most disorganized I have ever been with an impending birth. Usually, I already have my bags packed and all the clothes washed and organized by size, along with the diapers and baby's bed all set up in our room....but NADA!! Nothing!!! Oh well, I'll get there, I still have to get some stuff as well. Even though I use the cloth diapers, I really like to have a couple packages of disposables on hand, as well as all that wonderful smelling baby bath stuff!!!
Well, not much else to report. Guess I'm officially on Laundry Vacation!!! (oh man, is that going to suck in a few days!!!)Have a blessed rest of your weekend and a blessed Lord's day!!!!

Soooo busy!!!
What a tremendously busy last couple of days!!
Anyways, I had my 31wk appt on Friday, everything is great and Matthew is perfectly healthy, he scored 8/8 on his Biophysical Profile!!
I did however learn that I'm once again Anemic...*sigh* Blech, I hate those darn iron supplements!! Other stats:
weight: 127lbs (I honestly think their scale is way off, I have never weighed that low at this stage in the game, typically I'm between 131-135, I think it's because they use a regular bathroom scale there)
BP: 98/65
Baby's heartbeat:145
Measuring at: 32wks
Matthew seems to have settled a bit lower in my pelvis, but it's still early enough for him to get in a few more flips, he seems to really have favoured facing outwards these past few days, so we have had a really cool 'show'!!! Usually my babies face sideways, so this is really cool!! We have been able to see a distinct foot and a knee!!! It's been a nice relief on my ribs...that's for sure!!!
The kids are enjoying school, we just completed our first week, last week. They seem to be a little more adjusted than I thought they would be, so that is a really good thing. Everyday we were all done by lunchtime and on Thursday, Alex started REALLY early and was done everything by 9am!!! I love this curriculum because he can do that. It is so well put out for him and so self explanatory.
Can I ask you all for a prayer? One for my sister and her fiance, I won't say anything because of privacy, but the Lord will know. Also one for us, Bill is having such an ordeal with his employer and still has not been back to work. He is more than able to DO work, just not his original position. He is on long term disability but when we signed up for that (back when he was hired) we never thought to put his LTD up to at least 50% so we went with the 30%. Now, it has come back to bite us in the rear. He gets ONE monthly payment, and that payment is actually less than what he used to receive on ONE paycheck...it doesn't even cover the rent. This has been such a tremendous stress on us, especially since the little girls I look after leave on the 13th of October and then our precious bundle is born and then comes Christmas. If things stay the way they are, I'm really terrified there won't be much of a Christmas, so I come to my internet friends for a prayer. That a resolution will come and the Lord's plan will be revealed. I try VERY hard to be patient and trust my heavenly Father, but somedays it get's the better of me.
The Used Toy and Clothing sale was a huge letdown this year. Apparently, they didn't have enough time to get any proper advertising in all the surrounding communities this time, and boy did it show. I have never seen one this bad in all the 10years I have been going, it was terrible. So, as you can imagine, I didn't sell much, which in turn means I didn't get to buy much. PHOOEY!!! Praise the Lord I was able to get Alex a couple things and my sister got Alyssa a couple of things. I was also blessed by a wonderful lady who was across they way from me selling her baby boy's clothing, she let me buy a large assortment of clothing for next to nothing. I was also blessed to find a pair of runners for both Kayla and Mariah (DORA!!!) for cheap!!
My sister also bought the kids a few little treasures, which they were very excited and pleased with. I wish I would have been able to get a few more pants for Alyssa and Robbie and Alex. I was looking for jammies, but there was none to be found. Oh well, maybe the Spring sale will fare better!!
Thankfully, I was blessed with some $$$ to be able to purchase the kids their school supplies as well as some other school stuff. I'm planning on hitting the teacher store on Oct.1st, why the 1st?? Well, the school we're with allows $250.00/child per year for school supplies that they will refund after I produce receipts, the catch is, that it's only effective after Oct.1st!!!
hmmmm, what else is new??? I turned the big 28!!!! Whoohoo!!LOL!! We also celebrated Kayla's 4th birthday on Friday. I cannot believe she is FOUR!!!! It feels like just yesterday I gave birth to her!!! She was my only natural birth and was the fastest. We arrived at the hospital at 8:40am and she made her grand entrance at 8:46am!!!LOL(hence the reason we now induce my labours!!!LOL)
Well, hopefully your eyeballs are still intact after all that!!! Hopefully it wasn't too much of a downer post!! Much love and blessings to you all!!!
Have a blessed rest of your weekend and blessed Lord's day tomorrow!!!

A Tribute
I wanted to dedicate a post to a victim of the 9/11 tragedy. I signed up awhile ago to take part in this, as you may have seen on my other blog.
I was given Jacqueline J. Norton. Both her and her husband (Robert Norton) were aboard flight 11 on their way to their son's(Jason Seymour) wedding in Santa Barbara, California. Jacqueline was from Lubec, Maine and was 61 years of age.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find much else out about Jackie, which is a shame because she looks like such a wonderful lady. I did however, discover that although they were retired, she worked as a secretary in the church( Lubec Congregational Christian Church)where her husband was a deacon. She loved to garden and it was said that before they left, she brought a bouquet of sweetpeas from her garden to the church and told them to help themselves to more while they were away.
As the 11th nears, my heart and mind are saddened by this tragedy. So many families and friends and children affected forever. That day etched in each of our minds, forever. I do hope that we can, eventually, rid this world of all hate crimes and terrorism. My thoughts and prayers are with Jackie's family on this day, as well as each and every family who must go on with their lives with loved ones taken so tragically away from them. May all who were taken to be with the Lord, rest and sleep in peace. May all the men and women who are fighting to stop terrorism keep safe.
God bless.

Update!!
Just thought I'd come on here to post an update from my ultrasound!!
Praise the Lord....all is GREAT!!! The placenta is up and far enough away from the cervix that we can do a normal vaginal delivery!!!WHOOHOO!!!! Matthew is all good and weighed in at 3lbs 4ozs so far!! He was once again a funny little guy and proudly showed off his boy 'parts' numerous times!! Enought that the tech made comments about it!!LOL Matthew likes to turn himself around and flash himself!!LOL
I got some pics, so when I have a chance, I will post them on here!! We got a really neat on of his face (well, his lips and nose)he still loves to suck on his thumb and fingers and was happily doing that during the exam. So unless something shows up that I don't know about, all is well!!!
Hope everyone is having a blessed weekend!!!
