We had a wonderful Christmas, I hope you all did too!!
I've uploaded some pics in the Flickr to share our morning/day with you, there are also some from our Christmas Eve walk, we would've gone for a longer walk but the wind made it too cold. So, we came back and enjoyed watching the kids open their traditioanl gifts of new PJ's from Nana and Papa before snuggling into bed. I didn't get my Christmas wish of snow ON Christmas, it did however arrive a couple of days late!!LOL Figures!! Well, time to get these pumpkins into bed, or at least ready for bed!!LOL
Have a blessed Friday!!

Merry Christmas!!!
Thought I would pop in quick and wish all of you a wonderfully blessed CHRISTmas!!
We have been blessed beyond my wildest imagination....more than I ever thought possible!!
Tonight my sister and Brad are coming for dinner and spending the night, and then tomorrow will be just us, nice and quiet. I'm looking forward to that!
So take care and enjoy the holiday and praise the Lord for family and let us rejoice in the birth of Jesus Christ.

Happy Birthday to an Angel
Today is baby Hunter's 1st birthday, instead of smearing birthday cake all over his face and playing with wrapping paper more than the toy that was inside, he is dancing with angels.
It's hard to believe it has been an entire year...how quickly time goes. I think of all the first's he would've had....and all the things we have missed.
But I know he is in a far better place and amongst far better people for his birthday today. Who would've ever thought that such tiny feet could leave such big footprints etched in our hearts.
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Hunter, happy birthday to you. May you rest in peace in eternity sweet little one, we love you and miss you.
Here's a link to his pictures if you wish to see them, feel free to leave him a birthday wish!

1 month old!!!!
Can you believe Matthew is 1 month old?!?!? Me neither!!!
Here he is and there are other ones in the Flickr!!

Such a sweetie!!! He slept for 4 straight hours last night...awwww...we're coming out of the newborn stage....the next stages are just as fun, but there is something so special about that first month. Now we get to experience all kinds of new first's and this next year will fly by!! Each new day will bring upon it something new....what a blessed Mama am I.
I have so many wonderful things to share and not nearly enough time to write them all, but please know that the Lord is hearing all of our prayers and then some. The love and kindness of people is amazing and I am still in shock by many things. Glory be to Him!!AMEN!!!
Tomorrow we are having Alyssa's b-day party...YUM!! more cake..hehehe!!!
This next week is going to be so busy, but a wonderful type of busy. I will post pictures when I can!!
Have a blessed Lord's day tomorrow and rest in His easy yoke!!

Worth Repeating
Here's something that I received from a cyber-sister last year and I think it's worth repeating!!
Enjoy!!
************~*
THE CHRISTMAS TEN COMMANDMENTS
1. Thou shalt give thy heart to Christ. Let Him be at the top of thy
Christmas list
2. Thou shalt prepare thy soul for Christmas. Spend not so much on gifts
that thy soul is forgotten.
3. Thou shalt not let Santa Claus replace Christ, thus robbing the day
of its spiritual reality.
4. Thou shalt not burden the shop girl, the mailman, and the merchant
with complaints and demands.
5. Thou shalt give thyself with thy gift. This will increase its value a
hundred fold, and he who receiveth it shall treasure it forever.
6. Thou shalt not value gifts received by their cost. Even the least
expensive may signify love, and that is more priceless than silver and
gold.
7. Thou shalt not neglect the needy. Share thy blessings with many who
will go hungry and cold unless thou are generous.
8. Thou shalt not neglect thy church. Its services highlight the true
meaning of the season.
9. Thou shalt be as a little child. Not until thou has become in spirit
as a little one art thou ready to enter into the kingdom of Heaven.
10. Thou shall not forget to share your joy, peace and faith with those
around you.

Bill joked last night that if Christmas pictures were always this painful to watch!!LOL Here I was thinking it wasn't sooo bad!!LOL Maybe I'll just try re-touching them with some computer magic, I don't have PSP so we'll see what I can come up with!!

short and sweet! :o)
I only have brief seconds for online time so I'm going to do a quick post!
I'm feeling.....
BLESSED, because I have such sweet children and a wonderful husband. I am watching a few little miracles take place and I am feeling blessed for that. I know I am so very 'rich' in this way and that there are so many people who are aching for little blessings or even a faithful husband.
FRUSTRATED, because normally at this time of year I am busy making my homemade gifts and baking like crazy, this year I can't do anything...nada. I will have nothing to give to my friends and family and it is burdening my heart. I can't even bake a durned COOKIE!! This is so hard to contend with because I absolutely LOVE blessing people with my homemade baskets. I know this is just a season and it too shall pass, just all seasons do. It's just rough being on this side of the season and not being able to even afford FREE clothing!! How is that possible? I 'met' a sweet lady on Freecycle who offered me a large amount of clothing for my girls (two of which have grown like crazy since the summer!!LOL) but we were unable to get there to pick them up due to gas.....hmmph!So, I missed out on that.
So anyways, before this post turns into a pity me post, which I certainly do not want it to be, I will get on with my point. So, as I have been walking around feeling 'blue', I discover this in my inbox:
**********************************************
Psalm 69:3, "I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God."
Are you waiting for God to answer your prayers? Are you crying out for a loved one who is not yet saved? Are you in despair about one of your children? Are you going through deep waters and wonder how you will get out? Never give up. Even though God seems far away, He is still there. He is hearing your cry. He will bring deliverance in due time.
I think of David the Psalmist who waited and waited. I love the Knox translation of our Scripture in Psalm 69:3, "Hoarse my throat with crying wearily for help; my eyes ache with looking up for mercy to my God."
The most important thing we can do, in the daily problems of life, and when going through distress and trauma, is to LOOK UP! How many times do you hear me saying this? But I must remind you again. Look to the Lord. Don't look at your problem. When you look at your problems you will sink. When you look up to the Lord, you will never be ashamed.
Be encouraged by these Scriptures:
Psalm 59:9-10, "To Thee I look, the God who strengthens me, the God who watches over me; my God, and all my hope of mercy."
Psalm 62:1, "To God I look for deliverance."
Psalm 71:1-3, "To Thee, O God, I turn for succor.I have no other stronghold, no other refuge, but Thee!"
Psalm 77:2, "To the Lord I look when distress comes upon me."
"Well, that's great," you say, "but I've been looking and looking to the Lord and still I'm no better off. God does not seem to be hearing me. " Can I gently remind you again? Don't give up!
David experienced the same thing. He was in deep trouble. The waters were closing in on him, shoulders high! Even though he was nearly drowning, He kept his eyes upon the Lord. He looked so long his eyes ached with looking up! Are you at that stage yet? But even though his throat was hoarse with crying for help and his eyes ached with looking up, he didn't give up. And because he kept looking up, by the end of the Psalm He was praising the Lord. In v. 30 he says, "I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving."
In Psalm 71:14, while enemies are conspiring against him, David confesses, "Still will I hope on."
Keep hoping on, dear one.
Love from NANCY CAMPBELL

Hmmmmmm, just when you need to have a reminder!!! I subscribe to Above Rubies and receive weekly emails and this was this weeks. So, during this time of 'deep water' for us, I will keep looking up and hoarse my voice and I will hope on!!
I guess this wasn't so short and sweet after all...then again it took me a couple of days to write it!!!LOL
Please continue to pray for us if you feel led. Much love and blessings!
