Hey! I have a blog!!!!

My poor neglected blog, I do apologize to you. Can you forgive me?

So many days I have thought, "Oh, I should go write" and then later never seems to materialize!
Summer has come and gone. I think it came the day I blinked. Of course, I am not complaining all that much, this is after all my most favourite time of year!

We had a good summer. After our holidays we just pretty much hung out at home and went for small walks here and there. We were able to go to the zoo a couple of times, which was really nice.  Last weekend we were able to go to Calaway Park, which was super cool. All thanks to a local radio station!! Bill called in and won a pack of four tickets and then the radio guy phoned us back and said that they were able to upgrade us with another package so we could all go!!! How cool is THAT?!? Normally we just wouldn't be able to go due to the cost, so this was a HUGE blessing. We all had sooooo much fun. We arrived right when they opened and hung out until just about closing time.

When we were at the zoo the other weekend, I decided that would be the perfect time to take advantage of all the Fall beauty and take some pics of the kids! They turned out pretty good. I did not however, get one of Breanna who has something terribly against photos. I used a pic from earlier when we went to Globalfest for the firework competition near the end of August.

Today we are having our Thanksgiving day dinner. The turkey's are in the oven (yes, that is plural) and they smell wonderful.
This week is shaping up to be just as hectic, but in a good way. We have a surprise in the works for the kids this upcoming weekend. They know where we're going, but we are just awaiting on the details!!

miss teenie 2
What better way to wrap up a post?!?! Miss Teenie! I can't believe she is going to be two...TWO!!! She has such a personality. She is a full fledged toddler now, walking and talking and getting into all sorts of things. She is also still a happily breastfed toddler I am happy to report!!!  I am also happy to report, that so far, she has been successfully consuming dairy!!!! No issues so far, so hopefully this will continue. I know gluten still causes her and I discomfort (her digestive and me digestive as well as causing Fibromyalsia) but for now, we are happily eating cheese and drinking milk!! You have NO IDEA how goooooood cheese tastes!!!lol

~*Happy Thanksgiving*~ to my fellow Canadians!!!
